Einsteins, Westcott Spider Light, and Speedlights
Auxiliary lighting is a great way to ensure good consistent lighting in your portraits. Now there are many different types of auxiliary lighting including flashes and continuous light. I used Einsteins, the Westcott Spider Light, and Speedlights in the examples below. The first 5 images were taken with the spider light. The next two images were with the einstein, and the last image used a speedlight. If you want more tips on lighting patterns or speedlights click the word.
Lexy, great job on your portraits! I love how they turned out. I think you did a great job of getting clear crystal images. I love the way you edited them as well. Check out my portrait post. http://www.ctaylorstouch.com/photographing-senior-portraits/
Great portraits, Lexi! I love how natural all the poses look, I know it’s hard to find comfortable poses for models. The lighting is amazing, my favorite is your third photo, the one of Emily!
This website has some amazing portraits!
